How we handle your data in the dark.

1. Identity & Authentication
We minimize the data we collect. When you sign in using Discord, Google, or Email, we only store:
- Your email address (for account identification).
- Your full name (for personalization and billing).
- Your user ID and avatar from the OAuth provider.
- Authentication tokens (strictly to keep you logged in).
2. Google User Data Policy
To comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, we explicitly disclose how MoleTun accesses, uses, stores, and shares your Google User Data.
A. Data Accessed
We access the following personal information via your Google Profile: Email Address, Full Name, and Profile Picture.
B. Data Usage
We use this data to:
1. Create and authenticate your unique MoleTun user account.
2. Register you as a customer in our payment processor (Stripe) to enable subscription features.
3. Display your name/avatar to friends you manually connect with via the app.
C. Data Sharing (Third Parties)
We do not sell your Google data to advertisers.
However, to process payments, your Email and Name are shared securely with our payment processor, Stripe, to create a Customer ID. This allows us to manage your subscriptions and invoices.
3. Data Storage & Security
All user data is stored in secure, encrypted databases protected by industry-standard firewalls and access controls. We employ strict HTTPS (TLS) encryption for all data in transit between your client, our servers, and third-party providers (Stripe/Google).
4. Connections & Traffic
MoleTun uses a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) architecture based on WireGuard® technology.
Handshake Nodes
Our servers only act as coordinators to help your devices find each other (NAT traversal). We log handshake attempts strictly for debugging and connection establishment.
End-to-End Encryption
Once connected, your game traffic goes directly to your peer. We do not (and cannot) inspect, log, or store your game data packets.
5. Payments & Billing
All payments are processed by Stripe. MoleTun does not store your credit card details or bank information on our servers. We only retain the transaction status and subscription period.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your account data (Name, Email, ID) as long as your account remains active.
How to delete your data:
You may request the full deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at [email protected] (or your verified support email). Upon request, we will remove your data from our servers and request deletion of your customer record from Stripe within 30 days.
